MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
A wise man once said that education is the gift that none can take away, and true to this saying all of life’s possessions can be taken away but the mind will always have the free will to think and recreate new ideas. If one is educated then he has each and every tool to survive in this harsh world. Here at The Corner Brook School we aim at not only teaching but also imparting values into our young learners to be the best they could ever be. This is well sculptured in our core values which are;
"When educating the minds of the youth we must not forget to educate their hearts", said Dulia Lama. It is with this in mind that we always endeavor to maintain the highest standards of discipline always. This is achieved by applying strict measures on those who break the school rules as well as integrating well trained professional counsellors. All the measures we have in place are basically meant to correct, counsel, reprimand and be a deterrent measure to others.
TO ALL STUDENTS
I take this opportunity to encourage you to take your studies seriously and be the best you could ever be. It’s a tough world but with education you can be sure it will help you unlock many doors. You only have one chance to be young so enjoy your youth but this should come with a measure of responsibility. Just like Nelson Mandela said, "Education is the great engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, that a son of a mine worker can become the head of the mine and the child of a farmworker can become the president of a nation." So take advantage of this opportunity and change your life.
